January Full Moon at Split Rock

With a lack of snow and warm weather this year, there has not been too many dramatic scenes to photography. However, you can always depend on the January Full Moon to create an awesome display as it climbs up the back side of the cliff and creates a stunning image as it seems to drifts over Split Rock Lighthouse.

Without snow on the ground yet, November landscapes can be fairly dull and grey.  That's when a trip to Split Rock Lighthouse in the twilight of a full moon always adds color to the day an warmth to the heart.
