A cool fog clings the the rocky precipice of Palisade Head on the shores of Lake Superior near Silver Bay.On this beautiful September afternoon, the damp air off Lake Superior mingled with the sweet scent of nearby cedar trees to compel one to take a deep breath and taste a bit of nature. Although the immensity of the lake was hidden in the fog, the sound of the waves, rolling onto the shoreline 150ft below, proclaimed the power of the lake.
As my wife Debby viewed the scenery through the veiled atmosphere, there was no doubt that God creates moments like this to show us some of the attributes of His greatness and our smallness. His glory and His love envelops us as surly as the fog of a Lake Superior afternoon.
Psa 94:19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
