Lighthouse in the Mist

Cool September afternoons along the North Shore create unusual weather conditions when cold Canadian air pushes across the water of Lake Superior. In this picture a retreating fog bank drifts a mile off shore behind Split Rick Lighthouse.

There are many days along the shore of Lake Superior when the Lake creates it's own weather, fog banks come and go, wind picks up off the chilly waters and than ceases almost instantly.

When you have the privilege to observe this phenomenon you cannot help but stand in awe of the One who created such a magnificent work of art that touches all of your senses and calms your soul. God made this world so that we might know Him and His awesome power by experiencing the work of His hand in creation. Take some time today to enjoy creation and while your at it, enjoy the Master Artist.
