I will be at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul on Saturday May 1st to join in the celebration of Split Rock Lighthouse's Centennial Summer. There will be lots of activities for the family to enjoy.
On Friday, May 7th, I will also present a program at Split Rock Lighthouse as part of the Centennial Summer programs.
Hope to see you there!

New Book Released
For the first time, I have had a photography book published. The book titled "Picture Duluth" is a collection of images depicting points of interest, architecture, shipping, and cityscapes, surrounded by the natural beauty that has made Duluth such a wonderful place to live and visit.
You can flip through a sampling of the book at: pictureduluth.com
Enjoy the scenery!

High Tide
Daybreak on Lake Superior is always a special time of day. Here, an ocean freighter adds features to the horizon as the sun breaks over its deck.
This particular picture is composed of three separate exposures, blended together (HDR) to capture a wider range of light than the camera is capable of seeing in a single exposure.
